Quadrupole collectivity variations in even Hafnium isotopes

Abstract

The boson wave functions given by the interacting boson model have been analyzed for a chain of even Hf isotopes, along which transition from spherical to deformed nuclei, accompanied by an increase in the number of d bosons and degree of their pairing, occurs.
