Abstract
The experimental data for -decay half-lives to ground and excited states of deformed nuclei with and are analyzed in the framework of the unified model for decay and capture. The branching ratios to excited states depend on the energy and the angular momentum of the particle. The evaluated branching ratios for transitions in even-even nuclei agree with the experimental data. The experimental and calculated branching ratios for transitions into more highly excited states are similar.
