Masses of exotic nuclei
2021, Progress in Particle and Nuclear PhysicsCitation Excerpt :In this way, the original, measured correlation is properly preserved and the masses can automatically be re-calibrated in case the reference mass value is changed. In storage ring spectrometry, masses of many nuclides are measured simultaneously in relation to multiple reference masses, thus forming an own over-determined system of equations [187,188]. At present, a system of linear equations is solved independently from AME and the resultant masses are used as an input to the AME.
