Muon capture in Ar. The muon lifetime and yields of Cl isotopes

Abstract

The time and energy spectra of γ rays, accompanying negative muon capture in a 40Ar target, have been measured using Ge detectors. The results of measuring the muon lifetime in 40Ar and yields of different Cl and S isotopes at μ capture are reported.
