Abstract

The cross sections of the single proton knock-out reactions from F24, F25, and F26 on a C12 target were measured at energies of about 50MeVnucleon. Ground state populations of 6.6±0.9mb, 3.8±0.6mb for the reactions C12(F24,O23) and C12(F25,O24) were extracted, respectively. The data were compared to calculations based on the many-body shell model and the eikonal theory. In the reaction C12(F26,O25) the particle instability of O25 was confirmed.
