Abstract

The nonresonant direct radiative capture (DRC) cross sections of B11(n,γ) and C12(n,γ) at stellar energies are deduced by means of the asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) method. The ANC factors were extracted from the peripheral transfer reactions of B11(d,p) and C12(d,p). The deduced DRC cross sections of C12(n,γ) are in good agreement with experimental results of direct measurement. The DRC cross sections of B11(n,γ) at low energies are obtained for the first time.
