We use recent results of β-delayed neutron emission from ${}^{14}\mathrm{Be}$ to estimate the configuration of the ground state of ${}^{13}\mathrm{B}.$ We also discuss consequences for ${}^{14}\mathrm{Be}$ and ${}^{14}\mathrm{B}.$
