Abstract
Rays in the nucleus have been studied at the Gammasphere using deep-inelastic reactions induced by a beam on a thick target. Previously unknown yrast -ray cascades above the millisecond isomer in were identified in cross coincidence with known rays from complementary potassium products. Yrast and near-yrast levels up to 5.6 MeV in have been located, and they are interpreted in light of earlier charged particle spectroscopy results, and with the help of shell model calculations.
