Abstract
The pion single-charge-exchange reactions are studied for and above the delta resonance. The effect of the nuclear higher configurations is investigated for the cross section and the asymmetry under the distorted-wave impulse approximation. The cross section and the asymmetry are shown to be appreciably affected with the nuclear higher configurations.
