2013, International Journal of Mass SpectrometryCitation Excerpt :A very important prerequisite for future experiments on 94mAg (21+) is to improve the experimental data on excited (high-spin) levels of 93Pd and 92Rh, and thus clarify the properties of the states populated in the one-proton and two-proton decay of 94mAg (21+), respectively. A novel experimental technique for measuring in-flight decays of proton-unbound nuclei with lifetimes in the range of 10−9–10−12 s [38] was applied to investigate the two-proton decay of 19Mg [39–41]. The first half of the Projectile Fragment Separator FRS (GSI Darmstadt) was used to produce a beam of 20Mg by fragmentation of a primary beam of 24Mg.
