Abstract

Experiments have been carried at INFN-LNS to measure the production rates of 7Be, 18F, 22,24Na produced in the reaction: 19F (48 MeV/amu) + 12C. In this paper the experimental technique, data analysis and error calculation are reported. The estimated intensities of the secondary beams deliverable to the users vary from 107 to 108pps/pμA for acceleration at 300 keV and from 105 to 106pps/pμA for post-acceleration as negative ions into the INFN-LNS tandem.
