Abstract
The possibility of separating, with the aid of photoemulsion, channels of the reaction 12C(γ, n 3He)2α that involve the formation of 7Be and 8Be intermediate nuclei in excited states is studied. The experimental energy distributions of these nuclei are obtained. The relative yields from these reaction channels are estimated.
