Higher order terms of the nucleon current in the neutrino mass mechanism of neutrinoless double beta decay

The 1995 evaluation of A=82 (1987Mu01) has been revised using experimental decay and reaction data received by the cutoff date noted below. Major developments are:

⁸²Ni: A few theoretical references calculating pairing correlation energies, but nuclide not seen.

⁸²Zn: Produced in fission. No properties known.

⁸²Ge: Some pairing calculations.

⁸²As: 1− isomer adopted as g.s.; 5− excitation energy is uncertain.

⁸²Rb: New (HI,xnγ) data.

⁸²Se: Large number of measurements on 0v and 2v 2β⁻ decay. Major new work is (n,n′γ).

⁸²Y: New T_1/2. New (HI,xnγ) data.

⁸²Zr: New (HI,xnγ); many new bands.

⁸²Nb: Measured half-life, inferred β⁺ decay.

⁸²Mo: Calculated mass, etc, nuclide not observed.

Experimental data on ground-- and excited--state properties for all known nuclei with mass number A=136 have been compiled and evaluated. States populated in radioactive decay as well as in nuclear reactions have been considered. For these nuclei, level and decay schemes, as well as tables of nuclear properties are presented. This work supersedes the 1994 evaluation by J.K. Tuli (1994Tu01).

The evaluators present in this publication spectroscopic data and level schemes from radioactive decay and nuclear reactions studies for all isobars, Z=28(Ni) to Z=42(Mo), with mass number A=82. For ⁸²Ni not much is known other than its identification. Most of the new data, i.e., after the last NDS (2003Tu03), are based on compilations included in XUNDL. Contributions of the various compilers in XUNDL are gratefully acknowledged.
