Abstract

The effect of a parametrization of the temperature dependence of radiative strength functions for electric dipole transitions on the cross sections for isomer excitation in (n, γ), (n, 2n), (n, p), (n, α), (γ, \g′), (γ, n), (γ, p), and (γ, 2n) reactions is investigated. It is shown that the agreement of the results of calculations with the observed isomeric cross sections can be considerably improved by using the proposed method.
