Observables for the pd3Hπ+ and pd3Heπ0 reactions in a ppdπ+ model

Abstract

Differential cross sections and spin observables Ay, iT11, T20, and T22 are calculated for the pd3Hπ+ reaction in a ppdπ+ model at energies near threshold. The results are compared with experimental data for the reactions pd3Heπ0 and dp3Heπ0. Good agreement of these predictions with the data for the proton analyzing powers is obtained, and for most of the other observables satisfactory agreement is found. Effects of various assumptions in the model are investigated and discussed.
