Parameterfree account of quasielastic scattering of stable and radioactive nuclei

Abstract

Elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections of the system 12C+12C at several bombarding energies are calculated within a parameterfree model using the recently developed nonlocal energy-independent bare potential. Comparison with the data indicates that such a calculation gives accurately the average values of the cross sections. The system 12C+11Li is also discussed.
