Abstract
Inelastic scattering data of from hydrogen at have been interpreted as the excitation of a state in at , with an assignment of . Analysis of those data in a distorted wave approximation assuming transitions to three candidates obtained in a shell model suggests an alternative nuclear shakeoff mechanism.
