Abstract

Collisions of 11Li+p at 68AMeV have been studied by correlational measurements. An excited state of 11Li at E*1.3MeV was observed. The measured angular distributions show the dipole nature of the excitation of the 1.3-MeV peak. The structure of the excited states and the ground state of 11Li is discussed.
