Abstract

The 107Ag nucleus has been investigated with the 100Mo(11B,4nγ) reaction at 39 MeV beam energy. Gamma-gamma coincidences and angular correlations were measured. The ground state band has been extended to higher spins and a three-quasiparticle rotational band has been established. The results were interpreted within the cranked shell model and total Routhian surface predictions.
