Abstract

Recent studies have provided new experimental information on neutron-rich nuclei around doubly magic 132Sn. We have performed shell-model calculations for the two- and three-proton N=82 isotones 134Te and 135I using a realistic effective interaction derived from the Bonn A nucleon-nucleon potential. The results are in remarkably good agreement with the experimental data evidencing the reliability of our realistic effective interaction.
