Abstract
We have determined the absolute intensity of weak γ transitions in the level scheme of , observed following the electron capture decay of . The absolute intensity of the 1397-keV E3 branch from the 2093-keV () level was determined to be (4.9 ± 0.7) × %. This leads to a revised absolute transition rate of B(E3;→)= Weisskopf units, which is still consistent with an interpretation of the level based on quadrupole-octupole coupling. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
