Abstract

Measurements of the energy dependence of the reactions , and have been performed at beam energies ranging from 51 to 66 MeV. Silicon strip detectors were used to detect the decays of nuclei excited to the , 7.65 MeV and , 9.64 MeV excited states. Correlated, broad structures have been observed in the reactions at = 27.5 and 32.0 MeV, with associated angular momenta of L = 18 and 20 respectively. Similar structures have also been observed in the reactions at and 26.5 MeV, with associated angular momenta of L = 12 and 13.
