Abstract

At a pion kinetic energy of 292 MeV, comparison of averages of ground-state (g.s.) and double analog (DIAS) cross sections on isotopes of Ni and Se suggests that the g.s. cross section is comparable to that per nucleon pair for the DIAS. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
