Abstract
The new proton radioactivity has been observed, produced via the reaction. Its decay proceeds from the low-lying intruder state in to the ground state with the emission of a proton of energy and a half-life of . This marks the first observation of proton radioactivity above the closed shell, and it has been used to obtain the admixture of a intruder state in into the ground-state wave function.
