Abstract

The β-decay of 11Li into 9Li and d is studied using simple halo wave functions of 11Li. The transition probability is found to be sensitive to the description of the halo part and to the choice of the potential between 9Li and d. A branching ratio of the order of magnitude of 10−4 is obtained for a standard set of the potential parameters.
