Abstract

The α and β decays of Hf160162 were measured following their productions in Ba135(32S, xn) reactions. For the first time γ transitions following Hf160 β decay were observed. Partial β-decay schemes of Hf161,162 are presented and the α decay rates of Hf160 and Hf162 are discussed within the systematics of 0+0+ α reduced widths.
