Abstract

We have measured pion inelastic scattering from Ne20 with 180 MeV π+ and π at 12° and from 15° to 90° in 5° steps and with 120 MeV π+ from 15° to 90° in 5° steps. We report here on states in the first four Kπ=0+ bands, including the 6.73MeV 0+ and the 8.78-MeV 6+ levels. Coupled-channels processes are shown to be important for many states.
