Abstract
Angular distributions of differential cross section and vector analyzing power have been measured for the elastic and inelastic scattering of polarized by at 60 MeV bombarding energy. The data have been compared with the results of coupled-channels calculations using phenomenological potentials and coupling strengths derived from inelastic scattering cross-section data and B(E2) values. The data are reproduced by calculations including couplings between the ground and excited states of the projectile.
