Experimental response functions of a single-crystal diamond detector for 520.5 MeV neutrons

For energies below 14 MeV response functions of a SCD detector have already been reported by Zimbal et al. [9] and Schmid et al. [10], while successful measurements with natural diamond are reported by Pillon et al. [4] and Kovalchuk et al. [11]. This paper represents one of the first efforts to measure the response functions of diamond as a function of neutron energy.
