Abstract

The Δ excitation is a dominant part of the nucleus response in the spin-isospin channel. Strong medium effects show up in inclusive experiments. A most interesting question is the existence of pionic collective modes built by Δ-hole correlations. Decay modes of the Δ-hole states are investigated in coincidence experiments using 4π detectors. New results will be presented.
