Abstract

High spin states in Mo92 and Mo90 have been studied using the reactions Co59(37Cl,2p2n)92Mo, Zn66(30Si,2p2n)92Mo, and Zn66(28Si,2p2n)90Mo at beam energies 90–120 MeV. Level energies, spins, and parities have been established up to spin 17ħ (Ex=8–9 MeV) on the basis of gamma-gamma coincidence and angular distribution measurements. All the states in these two nuclei could be described by spherical shell-model calculations.
