Isomer-to-isomer beta decay of Hfm180 and the nucleosynthesis of Tam180

Abstract

The direct beta-decay branch linking Hfm180 (t1/2=5.5 h) to Tam180 has been measured to be fβ=(0.29±0.05±0.06)%. The relevance of this decay for the nucleosynthesis of Tam180 is discussed.
