Experimental limits on the second class induced tensor weak current are reviewed. A method, involving the measurement of the β-ν-α angular correlations in ${}_{}{}^8{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li}$ and ${}_{}{}^8{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{B}$ decays is proposed to test for this current with improved precision.
