Calculation of beta-decay half-lives of proton-rich nuclei of intermediate mass

Abstract

We present the results of a calculation of the beta-decay half-lives of several proton-rich even-even nuclei of intermediate mass: Sr74, Sr76, Zr78, Zr80, Mo84, Mo86, Ru88, Ru90, Pd92, and Cd96. The calculation is based upon the random phase approximation with the quasiparticle formalism and takes into account the residual particle-particle interaction.
