Abstract
The results of a new resonance analysis of the elastic scattering of by in odd-parity states and the radiative capture of by in the first excited state of are presented. We give evidence for a very broad level of at =26.59±0.065 MeV with =, S,T=1,1 not previously reported. The shape of the angular distributions and the broad maximum observed in the radiative capture cross section at high energies are explained in terms of the interference of three very wide overlapping resonances. Numerical values of the resonance parameters are given.
