Abstract
Cross sections for νC reactions are calculated both for charged- and neutral-current reactions in order to estimate the efficiency of a target as a solar neutrino detector. The relevant transition matrix elements are obtained using the semiphenomenological effective-operator approach for p-shell nuclei.
