Abstract

Differential cross-section angular distributions have been measured for single-nucleon transfer reactions induced by E/A=50 MeV C12 on targets of C12, Al27, Ca40, Zr90, and Pb208. Finite-range distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations reproduce the shape of the angular distributions for all targets. Although the cross-section magnitudes are sensitive to the choice of distorting potentials, reasonable potentials are found that yield spectroscopic factors within 50% of light-ion results for all targets.
