Low-Spin Excitations of ²⁰²Hg and ²⁰⁴Hg from Inelastic Neutron Scattering Spectroscopy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ^202,204Hg(n, n'γ), E=1.5-3 MeV; measured E(γ), I(γ), σ(E, E(γ), θ(γ)). ^202,204Hg deduced levels, J, π, branching ratios. Enriched targets, Ge detectors with time-of-flight background suppression. Comparisons with theory.
