Abstract
We have measured the differential cross section dσ/dΩ and the analyzing power in the elastic pHe scattering at 71.9 MeV. These data, together with all other existing data between 30 and 65 MeV, were subjected to a phase-shift analysis. New fixed energy solutions were found, which typically exhibit lower values than existing solutions and are consistent with a continuous energy dependence. An energy-dependent analysis with a quadratic energy dependence reproduced the trend of the single-energy solutions, but yielded large values.
