Hyperfine splittings in 4p55p configuration of Kr83 using saturated absorption laser spectroscopy

Abstract

Hyperfine splittings in the 2p2, 2p3, 2p8, and 2p9 states of the 4p55p configuration of Kr83 (I=9/2) have been measured using diode-laser optical pumping and saturated absorption spectroscopy. The resulting hyperfine coupling constants are in good agreement with calculated values.
