Abstract
The reaction ,p), at a bombarding energy of 28 MeV, has been used to populate states of up to an excitation energy of 16 MeV. Complete angular distributions were measured and compared with results of standard Hauser-Feshbach calculations. The overall magnitudes of the cross sections are reasonably well reproduced. A preponderance of slight forward peaking in the data suggests the presence of an additional nonstatistical mechanism.
