Nuclear Science References (NSR)
NSR Reference Paper NIM A 640, 213 (2011)
Database version of April 29, 2024

The NSR database is a bibliography of nuclear physics articles, indexed according to content and spanning more than 100 years of research. Over 80 journals are checked on a regular basis for articles to be included. For more information, see the help page. The NSR database schema and Web applications have undergone some recent changes. This is a revised version of the NSR Web Interface.

Kernspektroskopische Untersuchungen von Hochspinzustanden in den neutronenarmen Kernen 220, 222, 224Th

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(16O, 4n)220Th, E=93 MeV; 208Pb(18O, 4n)222Th, E=94, 93 MeV; 208Pb(18O, 2n)224Th, E=78 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, (recoils)γγ-coin, γ(θ), ce and (ce)γ-coin for 220,224Th, multiplicity correlations using Darmstadt-Heidelberger Kristallkugel array of Ge detectors for γ radiation, and a solenoidal spectrometer with Si(Li) detectors for conversion electrons at the MP tandem accelerator of MPI-Kernphysik, Heidelberg. 220,222,224Th; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, K-conversion coefficients for transitions in 220Th, multipolarities, ground-state and octupole bands, alternating parity bands, B(E1)/B(E2), electric dipole moment (D0), moment of inertia plots; discussed octupole deformation and reflection asymmetric shapes.
