Abstract
Elastic scattering of 250 MeV polarized protons from has been measured and angular distributions of the cross section and the analyzing power are presented. A relativistic optical-model analysis of these data and other experimental information on (p,pC scattering between 200 and 300 MeV in the framework of Dirac phenomenology has been carried out and leads to a smoothly energy-dependent optical potential.
