Abstract

New elastic and inelastic neutron scattering data for 6,7Li taken at 24.0 MeV have been analyzed in conjunction with existing proton scattering data for these targets at 24.4 MeV. The new data allow us to infer that ρnρp in Li6 and Li7 in contrast with the results ρn≊(N/Z)ρp deduced from earlier proton and electron work.
