Abstract

The 3He and 3H electromagnetic form factors are calculated. The three-nucleon bound state wave function includes single-Δ isobar admixtures. Implications of current conservation for the form factor calculation are discussed. Some selected relativistic corrections are also computed. They lead to a remarkably good description of the existing experimental data and suggest the possibility of substantial relativistic corrections in both electromagnetic form factors.
