Possible Ex≊18 MeV state in Li7

Abstract

The inclusive α spectra from the reaction Be9(d,α) have been measured at Ed=50 MeV. The spectra were analyzed with a combination of phase space distributions and resonances. The result of the analysis suggests the evidence for a broad level in Li7 at Ex∼18 MeV. The position and width correspond to the analog state found in Be7 at ∼17 MeV excitation.
