Pionic fusion and the clustering correlation

Abstract

Pionic fusion reactions He4,π+)7Li and He4,π0)7Be at the subthreshold energy are studied theoretically. The cross section is enhanced largely by the clustering correlation. The general trend of target-mass dependence of the A(3He,π+)C reaction is also studied.
