Values of B(E2) strengths connecting low-lying $0^{+}$ and $2^{+}$ states in ${}_{}{}^{70}{}_{}{}^{}$,72,74,76Ge are examined in the context of an earlier coexistence model previously applied to two-neutron transfer.
