Abstract
An excitation function from =50 to 120 MeV at ° and an angular distribution at 60 MeV have been measured for the pion double-charge-exchange reaction (,). The cross section is found to decrease with increasing energy. The excitation function and the angular distribution are very similar in shape to those of the double-isobaric-analog-state transitions observed for and , but the magnitude is a factor of 6 smaller.
