Abstract

We examine the effects of relativistic dynamics and medium-modified electromagnetic form factors on the ratio of transverse to longitudinal response in (e,ep). Calculations performed in the distorted-wave impulse approximation show that the effects of Dirac dynamics and medium-modified form factors are small. We also show that current data seem consistent with our distorted-wave impulse approximation calculations.
